·        The YCOWA was in 2004 honoured with the award of 8^th “Tji Hak-soon Justice & Peace” given by the Tji Hak-soon Justice and Peace Foundation in Republic of Korea.  This award is given annually to individuals or groups who have contributed to justice and peace in their own countries.  The YCOWA was awarded this prize because of its works in difficult situations in the field of defending victims of the unjust laws and defense of human rights, particularly for the Burmese migrant workers in Thailand.

·        Apart from the above-mentioned remarkable accomplishments, during the period of 2002-2006 the YCOWA in coordination with the MAP Foundation and the Lawyer Council of Thailand assisted 1383 workers in 101 cases who won their remuneration in total of (6,258,143) Baht from the employers through Thai legal process.
